Primary Job:
Perform mechanical repairs to ensure proper performance and safety of district vehicles. Work on projects assigned, follow established procedures.
Job Requirements:
Minimum Certification/Education: (A) Must have a valid "Class B" commercial driver's license (passenger endorsement preferred). Have an "eligible" driving record. (B) Physical demands: Must pass an annual physical examination. (C) Minimum experience: Three years experience as an engine mechanic with at least two years experience in diesel engine repair. (D) Other: The ability to diagnose mechanical problems and perform repairs and the ability to operate equipment and tools involved in vehicle repair. All other duties and tasks as deemed appropriate and acceptable by the Business Manager.
