Description

The Custodian's primary purpose is to follow routine cleaning and maintenance schedules and procedures to maintain a high standard of safety, cleanliness, and efficiency in building operations and on school grounds.

 

Requirements:

Must possess H.S. Diploma or G.E.D. Certificate Knowledge/Skills: Ability to read and understand instructions for cleaning, maintenance, and safety procedures Ability to operate cleaning equipment and lift heavy equipment as well as the ability to safely handle cleaning supplies.  

Must also: Pass a fingerprint-based background check. Pass a pre-employment physical & be certified "In Good Health" by a licensed Physician

 

Application Steps:

2. Provide a copy of your HS Diploma or College transcript.

3. Provide proof of Identity (Driver's Lic., SS card, Birth Certificate, Passport, or other Federal Documents.)

4. If required, you must submit to and pass a biometric (fingerprint-based) background check.

 

Included in the electronic application:

A notice to comply with the requirement to a Criminal History Record Information (CHRI) review via the "DPS FACT" database (included during the enrollment process) per Texas Government Code Sec. 411.097. Note: An "Affidavit of Applicant Offered Employment" (included in the application process) must be completed and notarized before a candidate is offered a professional position at N-S CISD. A notary public is available in the Human Resources office for candidates who are recommended for employment. This pre-employment requirement complies with TEC 21.009.
