Position Details:
The Elementary campus is located in Smiley, TX, and has an opening for a full-time campus secretary. The qualified secretary should have strong communication, computer, and multitasking skills, as this position is primarily responsible for registration, student enrollment, and scheduling. The campus secretary position handles purchasing requisitions and validation reports in sub-reporting, timesheets, progress/grade reports, and coding. Other duties, such as answering visitor questions and providing clerical services to the school administrative office, are also required. Assignments to additional or specific duties may occur as necessary and are assigned by the Principal.
Requirements:
High School Diploma or GED. Proficient skills in typing, word processing, program knowledge, and experience in MS Word, PowerPoint, Excel, PDF, and Google Docs. Office operations require electronic file maintenance and storage. Effective communication and interpersonal skills. Ability to operate general office equipment, including, but not limited to computer, a multi-line phone, a copier, and a fax machine. A minimum of three years of secretarial experience or related school employment experience. Other relevant experience will be considered if the relevant experience equals or exceeds the years of experience required.

A notary public is available in the Human Resources office when candidates are recommended for employment. This pre-employment requirement complies with TEC 21.009 and local policy.
