Role and Purpose:
Plan, Implement, and evaluate a comprehensive program of guidance, including counseling services to school assigned. Use a planning process to define needs and priorities of population served. Provide a proactive, developmental guidance program for all students to maximize personal growth and development.
Qualifications:
A. Minimum Certification Education:
Master's Degree in guidance and counseling. Valid Texas Counselor's certificate.
B. Special Knowledge/Skills:
Knowledge of counseling procedures, student appraisal, and career development.
Excellent organizational, communication, and interpersonal skills.
C. Minimum Experience:
Three years teaching experience as a classroom teacher.

6. Complete Sexual harassment class instruction (Provided prior to employment by N-S CISD staff).
7. All candidates must pass a fingerprint based (biometric) background check.
