Job Description:

The resource teacher is responsible for contributing to the educational system as a unit and to the growth of each student in the assigned curriculum area.  The resource teacher shall aid each student to acquire knowledge to further realize his or her potential.     

 

Requirements:

You must pass a fingerprint-based background check and have a valid Texas teaching certificate in EC-12, Elem 1-8 Generic SPED, Elementary Generic SPED, SPED Supplemental (valid at grade levels and in subject areas of base certificates). 

Capable of teaching all Elementary grade levels with knowledge of assigned subjects and general knowledge of curriculum and instruction. ESL certificate preferred.

  

This position is eligible for the Special Education Stipend of $2,000 – must be SPED certified.
