Job Description:

The Math Teacher is responsible for contributing to the educational system as a unit and to the growth of each student in the assigned curriculum area.  The Math Teacher shall aid each student to acquire knowledge, and develop skill to further realize his or her potential.

 

Requirements:

A valid Texas teaching certificate with the required endorsements for subject/level assignment. Knowledge of assigned subjects and general knowledge of curriculum and instruction. 

 

Preferred: 4-8 Generalist with 7th Grade Math exp., ESL Certificate or Supplemental.

4. Provide proof of Identity (Driver's Lic., SS card, Birth Certificate, Passport or other Federal Documents.)

• You must affirm whether you are in compliance with the SB 9 fingerprint requirement and submit to a CHRI review via the "DPS Computerized Criminal History (CCH) Verification Form" (included in the application process).  
•  An "Affidavit of Applicant Offered Employment" (included in the application process) must be completed and notarized before a candidate is offered a professional position at N-S CISD.  A notary public is available in the Human Resources office for candidates who are recommended for employment. This pre-employment requirement complies with TEC 21.009.
