The teacher aide will work one-on-one with students and assist the teacher in the preparation and management of classroom activities and the completion of administrative requirements. Assignments to additional or specific duties may occur as necessary and are assigned by the Principal.
**This position will work in the Life Skills classroom, assisting with the physical and instructional needs of individual students with disabilities inside and outside the classroom. The candidate must be comfortable assisting with the implementation of Individual Education Plans (IEP), including self-help, behavior management, and instructional programs.
Requirements:
The qualified candidate must pass an assessment exam (locally administered) and become certified by the State Board of Educator Certification.
