The Early Childhood Special Education (ECSE) educational aide assists the teacher in the implementation of Individualized Education Programs (IEPs), manages student behavior, and assists with personal care and classroom instruction. Assignments to additional or specific duties may occur as necessary and are assigned by the Principal. 

 

Requirements:

The qualified candidate must pass an assessment exam (locally administered) and become certified by the State Board of Educator Certification.

2. Provide a certified copy of your college transcript OR high school diploma.

3. If available, provide/upload a copy of a valid Educational Aide Certificate.

4. Provide proof of Identity (Driver's Lic., SS card, Birth Certificate, Passport, or other government documents)

 

Included in the electronic application: 

• You must affirm you are in compliance with the SB 9 fingerprint requirement and will submit to a CHRI review via the "DPS Computerized Criminal History (CCH) Verification Form" (included in the application process).  
•  An "Affidavit of Applicant Offered Employment" (included in the application process) must be completed and notarized before a candidate is offered a professional position at N-S CISD.  A notary public is available in the Human Resources office for candidates who are recommended for employment. This pre-employment requirement complies with TEC 21.009 and local policy.
